Summer Reading Kickoff!
Saturday May 30th, at the Brown Deer Beer Garden
10:00-12:00pm
Come get a head start on this year’s summer reading with Brown Deer Public Library’s annual Summer Kickoff on May 30th! To go along with the theme of “Unearth A Story”, our program this year is themed around paleontology and archeology, with activities and games centered around and about ancient animals, such as prehistoric dinosaurs, as well as ancient civilizations from around the world. The Summer Kickoff will take place outside with an interactive fossil dig, scavenger hunt, and other amazing events that will transport you back in time!
Also there will be the ShaoLin Center starting at 11:00am! They will perform a traditional lion dance, and music with a drum, gong and cymbal!
