Library card eligibility
Any resident of Brown Deer or Milwaukee County is eligible for a library card at Brown Deer Public Library. When getting your library card you must have two forms of ID. To see what is accepted you can go here.

Children between 6-14 are eligible for a library card as long as a parent or guardian is present with proper identification. Parents or guardians are responsible for all items borrowed.

Cards expire after 2 years from date of issue.

With your library card you are able to borrow from Brown Deer or any other library in Milwaukee County

Restrictions:

Do not lend your card to others. Materials checked out on your card become your responsibility.

Lost cards should be reported to the library immediately.
