About the Event
The second month of each month from 5:30-6:30PM Do you like historical fiction or reading about the experiences of other kids? Check out the new book club for kids ages 8-12 (or 4-6th grade). Each month we will read one of the “I Survived” books and get together to talk about the book. We will also have a small activity or craft and a snack. September 12 – I Survived the Great Chicago Fire October 10 – I Survived the Eruption of Mount St. Helens, 1980 November 14 – I Survived the Children’s Blizzard, 1888 December 12 – I Survived Hurricane Katrina, 2005
