Silent Book Club
The 2nd Tuesday of the month
5:30-6:30pm
Traditional book clubs often come with the scramble to finish the selected book and the pressure to have something insightful to say. At Silent Book Club, the focus is solely on literature, meaningful connections, and a shared atmosphere of quiet companionship. No homework required.
There's no assigned reading at Silent Book Club. All readers are welcome - eBooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's truly BYOBook. Come at 5:30pm to share what you're reading, then settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees are welcome to socialize - or not!
We love hearing about what people are reading (often from their other book clubs), but there's never any pressure to share.
Everyone is welcome, and anyone can join. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 6:30pm.
