May – Zimbabwe – Sadz Nenyama – Chili Flakes – This beef and kale stew cooked in a cornmeal dough is a cornerstone to Zimbabwean cuisine.
June – India – Butter Chicken – Garam Masala – Few dishes are as iconic as a creamy, buttery, tomato-ey curried chicken over rice. This New Delhi classic will have you singing India’s praises.
July – South Korea – Bibimbap – Gochujang – Another iconic rice dish, this dish can be customized with almost anything you would find in your fridge. It literally translates to “mixed rice”.
August – Turkey – Baklava – Ground Cinnamon – A honeyed, nutty pastry that has practically become synonymous with the Middle East, this dish has been around since the Ancients.
