About the Event

Like we have been doing, every month we will provide a spice/seasoning and recipe (or two). Kits are available up at the circulation desk. Everything inside is yours to keep. Just return the container within 7 days. But we are shaking things up. Every season or two will focus on a continent or region and the foods that are native to them. Join us as we explore the world through food. This season we head to South America.

March – Garlic cloves & jalapeño – Aji verde. Spicy, tangy, creamy, this sauce makes ample use of some of the most popular ingredients in Peruvian cuisine, in particular garlic and peppers. This sauce really packs a punch.
