It wouldn’t be summer without some fun craft projects. Have fun with these unique programs designed to get your creative juices flowing.
Bleached T-Shirts (BYOS)
May 24th
These fun shirts are last forever and super easy to create. Bring your own colored cotton shirt and we’ll provide the rest. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind shirt you can wear all summer long.
Homemade Chia Pet Challenge (all ages take home)
June 28th
We provide the burlap, dirt and seed and send you on your way. You provide the inspiration and bring it back. Create works of sculptural seed art and bring them back to the library for all the community to see.
Macramé Mermaid Keychains
July 26th
Bring a little fun from your imagination and childhood home with you as you rediscover the magic of the sea with these little macramé creations.
Fire Ink Votives (adults only)
August 23rd
The kids got to make framed fire ink art. We get to make votives. Join us as we play with fire and color to make these limited-edition luminaries. Registration is required as votives are limited (or bring your own clear glass votive or empty and cleaned glass yogurt container to use).
