Spooky Story Contest!
October 1-31st
It’s true – we’re reviving our Spooky Story Contest! Submit your “spooky” story to the Brown Deer Public Library!!!
Participants may enter one “spooky” story
2nd – 4th grade: 1000 word limit
5th – 8th grade: 1300 word limit
9th – 12th grade: 1500 word limit
The Rules: Entries must be typed. No previously published work is allowed. Please do not put your name on the same page as your entry. Include a cover sheet with your name, age, and phone number and paper clip it to your story. Entries must be received at the Brown Deer Library by 7:00 pm on Thursday October 31st.
One winner from each age group will win a $25 Target gift card! A collection of the winning and notable entries will be made available at the library.
